This Privacy Policy explains how the Bitefight Auto Adventure browser extension (“the Extension”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the website bitefight-bots.com collect, use, and protect your information. Our primary goal is to provide a safe, efficient, and transparent automation tool for your gameplay.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in minimizing data collection. The Extension only collects and processes data that is strictly necessary for its core functionality and subscription management.

Local Storage Data: The Extension saves your personal bot settings (such as selected modes, timers, HP limits, and hunting preferences) locally within your browser using chrome.storage and localStorage. Where you enable browser sync, those settings are synchronised by your browser vendor across your own devices — they still do not reach us.
Game Account Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit your Bitefight username, password, or any personal game account details to any external servers. The bot operates entirely on your local machine.
Your Email Address: Your email address is the identifier of your licence. We need it to sign you in (we send a one-time “magic link” instead of asking for a password), to check whether you hold a valid, active subscription, and to contact you about your subscription when necessary.
Payment Data: If you purchase a Silver, Gold, or Master subscription, your payment is processed by Stripe, through ExtensionPay. We never collect, view, or store your card details. Your primary email address and subscription status (active / unpaid / cancelled) are held by ExtensionPay and Stripe as our processors, and we can see the subscription status associated with your address.
Secondary Email Addresses: A licence is personal. If you register additional email addresses in order to use your licence on more than one account, we store those secondary addresses on our own licensing infrastructure, linked to your primary address. They exist for one purpose: to verify that a licence is being used by its owner and not shared with other people.
Website Messages: If you use the contact form or request a billing link on this website, we process the address and message you submit in order to reply to you. Delivery is handled by our email provider, Resend.
Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure aggregate traffic. This concerns the website only — the Extension does not report your gameplay to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

The limited data we process is used exclusively for the following purposes:

To run the automation: Local settings are read by the script to know when and how to automate your gameplay.
To sign you in: Your email address receives a one-time link that opens your session or your billing portal. We do not store a password for you, because we never ask for one.
To verify premium access: To check whether you have an active subscription so the Extension can unlock the respective features (Gold/Master).
To keep licences honest: Primary and secondary addresses are compared so that a single licence is not shared between unrelated people. This is the only reason those addresses are kept.
To support you: To answer the messages you send us.
To improve performance: To store internal logs locally so the bot can remember what actions it recently performed (e.g., checking if the church regeneration was completed).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data reaches only the providers we need in order to operate:

Stripe and ExtensionPay — payments, subscription status, and the billing portal.
Resend — delivery of the emails we send you (magic links, replies).
Cloudflare — hosting for this website and for the licensing infrastructure where secondary addresses are stored.
Google Analytics / Tag Manager — aggregate website traffic statistics.

4. Data Security

Local Processing: Your gameplay data and bot settings never leave your browser, so they are as secure as your own computer.
Encrypted Payments: All billing transactions are encrypted and processed at bank-level security by Stripe.
Signed Links: Sign-in and billing links are cryptographically signed and expire after a short period, so an old link cannot be reused.

5. Retention

Local settings remain on your device until you delete them or remove the Extension.
Email addresses (primary and secondary) are kept for as long as your licence exists, and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting and anti-fraud purposes.
Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.

6. User Rights and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data.

To delete the data stored on your device: uninstall or remove the Extension, and clear your browser’s local storage and cache.
To see, correct, or delete the email addresses linked to your licence, or to withdraw a secondary address: write to us at the address below. Note that deleting the email address tied to an active subscription also ends the ability to verify that subscription.
To manage or cancel your subscription: use the billing portal, either from the Extension’s interface or from the Manage subscription page on this site.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or updates to our subscription models. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Effective Date” at the top will be updated.
